About My Clients
I work with clients that are curious and want to learn more about themselves. In my practice I work with individuals and couples that are experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, sexuality challenges, immigration, family dynamics, ADHD and women’s lifecycle issues.
My Background and Approach
I’m an attachment-based psychodynamic therapist using experimental, psychoanalytical and humanistic theories. I hold extensive training is in Emotionally Focused Couples (and Individual) Therapy, Sex Therapy, EMDR and Attachment-based CBT/ACT. I’m currently gaining my PhD in Human Sexuality and a Fellow at SF Psychoanalysis institute. I previously was a Registered Nurse in Fertility Endocrinology.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Oftentimes, we hide a part of ourselves out of fear of judgment or pain. Therapy is a place to bring your whole self--whatever that may look like for you. My work is grounded in cultivating a safe and accepting space for you to share your desires, fears, passions, worries, and more. Healing begins when we shift our mindsets towards having more self-compassion and giving ourselves space to be imperfect (which we all are!). I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy, but rather a collaborative one. My hope is that we can begin the therapeutic journey together by focusing on what is most salient for you.
