About My Clients
I help clients get curious about all parts of themselves, challenge rigid thinking, hold more space for nuance, and live more fulfilled lives. I especially enjoy working with people as they work to: create healthy, reciprocal relationships, overcome perfectionism and people-pleasing patterns, and navigate life and career transitions.
My Background and Approach
It's important to find a therapist with whom you feel both connected to and challenged by. I use an interactive, relational style to help you clarify the root of your struggles, identify strengths, and create change. I am trained in psychodynamic theory, CBT, DBT, and ACT. Over the years, my practice has become a blend of insight-oriented therapy and helping clients learn skills to use outside of sessions. We'll likely laugh together while working to achieve your therapy goals. Therapy can increase the flexibility with which you engage in your life. My intent is for us to create a strong and collaborative rapport through which we can work together to improve your understanding of yourself and help you feel less stuck.
