About My Clients
I work with individuals and families navigating complex emotional or legal challenges—whether it’s healing from trauma, managing high-conflict relationships, or finding stability through family court, DCFS, or major life transitions. My clients are often resilient but exhausted, seeking clarity, validation, and a path forward. Together, we focus on empowerment, emotional insight, and creating lasting, meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I am a California-licensed psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.), a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a credential in School Counseling. My background allows me to integrate clinical expertise with a deep understanding of relationships, family systems, and human development. I specialize in trauma-informed care, forensic and clinical assessment, and therapy for individuals navigating family conflict, legal involvement, or major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I aim to help clients gain clarity, self-understanding, and confidence as they heal, rebuild, and move forward. Whether in therapy or assessment, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in humanizing professionals, breaking stigma, and creating spaces where people can be both accomplished and imperfect. My work is guided by compassion, fairness, and authenticity—I value transparency and the courage it takes to be seen. Outside of my practice, I write and speak about resilience, recovery, and the reality of rebuilding after personal or professional setbacks. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental health, supporting survivors of trauma and systemic injustice, and advocating for fairness in the family court system. I also volunteer time mentoring early-career clinicians and supporting professionals navigating burnout or board challenges. I believe that growth is possible for everyone—even in the midst of chaos—and that healing begins when we are truly seen and believed.
