About My Clients
I love to see families thrive. In addition to working with adolescents, I am passionate about working with parents and caretakers, because I believe there is no better way to support kids, than to help the people care for them show up with their most centered selves. Additionally, as a fellow artist and introvert, I love to help those who don’t’ necessarily “fit between the lines”, stand up and be their most authentic selves.
My Background and Approach
As a clinician, I work to create safe and trusting space where all parts of you are honored and welcome. With a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have a holistic lens which considers how our families and the larger society impacts our mental health and ability to thrive. I have completed level-1 training in Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting, and incorporate these modalities to dive into deeper healing. For the last two years I worked as a school-based mental health practitioner and in my prior career, I was a life coach and a nutritional educator.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about helping children live good lives, a value that shows up in my work as a therapist, in my role as a mother, and in my work as a climate activist, doing my small piece to create a healthy planet for all people and for future generations. As a person of European descent, I also work to unravel my own place in the white patriarchal system we are a part of so that I am better able to stand with people of all backgrounds and identities. In my free time, I am a poet and I like to buzz around town on my e-bike, and play Ping-Pong, badminton, and backgammon with my family.
