About My Clients
My ideal clients are teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and burnout. Many are multicultural individuals or eldest daughters carrying the heavy weight of family expectations and intergenerational trauma. Outwardly, you are the reliable high-achiever who has it all under control, but internally, your mind is a non-stop loop of overthinking, anxiety, and guilt. I am here to provide a safe space where you can finally step out of survival mode.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is a safe, compassionate partnership. Specializing in Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma, I love working with teens, young adults, and families, especially those trying to find their place between different cultural worlds. Grounded in my training at Columbia University, I blend a deeply relational, trauma-informed approach with evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This means we join deep emotional validation with real-world tools. Together, we will gently explore the intergenerational patterns and daily stressors holding you back, while equipping you with practical, compassionate strategies to calm your racing mind and protect your peace with clear boundaries. You will learn to listen to your body, break self-sabotaging loops, and confidently rewrite your narrative. Let's take this first step together today.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a Chinese Asian American woman, and having grown up in Hong Kong as the oldest sister of two, the role of organizer and mediator is part of who I am! This lived experience fuels my passion for mental health equity and allows me to bring a deeply personal, culturally responsive framework to my practice. My practice is an intentionally inclusive, LGBTQIA-affirming, and safe space for everyone regardless of race, culture, religion, or background.
