About My Clients
I’ve worked extensively with the elderly population, including those who have Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, and other neurodegenerative ailments. I’ve also worked with adults, teens and children who have experienced depression, anxiety, and grief and loss.
My Background and Approach
I’m a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner and provisionally licensed art therapist. I’ve obtained a Master of Science in Art Therapy from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I specialize in art therapy, using a person-centered approach. I also have experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and Gestalt therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that art therapy can be healing for anyone. My therapeutic philosophy will aim to overcome obstacles through the power of creative expression and visual communication.
