About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults ranging in age from 13 to 70, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, agoraphobia, and executive functioning challenges. I am especially mindful of how trauma, neurodivergence, and life transitions can impact emotional well-being and daily functioning. My goal is to empower clients with practical tools, increased self-awareness, and confidence in their ability to manage challenges and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow. I utilize evidence-based and client-centered approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the strengths perspective, exposure therapy, and empowerment techniques to help clients navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop effective coping strategies. I believe every individual has unique strengths, experiences, and abilities that can serve as a foundation for meaningful change. My goal is to work collaboratively with clients to identify personal strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, address fears and anxieties, and develop practical tools to support emotional well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have experience working with marginalized and underserved populations, providing compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including domestic violence and other significant life challenges, as well as individuals and families impacted by ALS.
