About My Clients
I work best with college students, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, or relationship challenges. My ideal clients are ready to grow, reflect, and take steps toward feeling more balanced and confident. If you’re looking for a safe, supportive space to explore what’s going on and find your way forward, we might be a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and several years of experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. I specialize in working with college students and young adults, helping them navigate stress, identity, and change with confidence. My approach is collaborative and empowering—focused on building a trusting relationship where you feel safe, heard, and supported. I also incorporate mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and strengths-based techniques to help clients find practical tools for healing and growth. Whether you’re feeling stuck or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Latina therapist, I value inclusivity, cultural humility, and creating a space where all identities are honored and respected. I’m passionate about supporting mental health access for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-generation individuals, and I believe that therapy should be a place where you don’t have to explain who you are. I support movements that promote equity and justice, including Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+ rights. Outside of my counseling work, I volunteer with local organizations focused on youth mental health and education. I believe in meeting people where they are—with compassion, curiosity, and an open heart.
