My Background and Approach
I have been working as a therapist for over a decade in a variety of settings. I am trained in EMDR, which is an approach used to treat and resolve past trauma/disturbing experiences. I also specialize in helping individuals recover from narcissistic abuse. My approach is eclectic and involves concepts from EMDR, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a comfortable place for you to find relief. My approach is down to earth and familiar while also including structured interventions that are proven to be effective in treating symptoms. I am a military spouse and am familiar with the challenges faced in the military community. I am also the proud parent of a Boston Terrier who will make online appearances by request. I am accepting of all religions, races, sexual orientations, and genders.
