About My Clients
My goal is to help people who want to change their lives, appreciate, and be more successful. I specialize in trauma therapy (EMDR, CPT, and PE) but I also have a lot of experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, sleep issues, work issues, relationship issues, grief, bi-polar, LGBTQ, relationship issues, stress, work issues, and much more. I have experience working with many different types of first responders, and all branches of the military.
My Background and Approach
I have been working in the behavioral health field since 2001 in the Phoenix and Tucson area. I am licensed at the highest level possible and have extensive experience in many areas. I am very transparent and flexible with my approach. I my theoretical approach leans toward cognitive behavioral therapy but also utilize techniques from behavioral therapy, solution focused, and motivational interviewing, EMDR, CPT, and PE, to name a few therapies. I do specialize in trauma therapy and I am fully trained in EMDR, CPT, and PE.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I knew in high school that I wanted to help others deal with mental health issues and was often the person that helped others with their problems. I am very open and unjudgemental and love to learn about other cultures and points of view. I myself find of yoga helps with anxiety , and interacting with animals as they provide unconditional positive regard.
