My Background and Approach
Nicole is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker, NYS School Social Worker and Certified Children's Mindfulness & Yoga Instructor. Nicole has over 15 years of experience working as a Social Worker. Combining her areas of expertise, Nicole brings stress reduction, relaxation and mindfulness into her counseling sessions in order to help decrease anxiety and depression and increase focus, awareness and positivity. Nicole began her private practice, Inspiring Wellness, in 2015 to service the many needs that children, adolescents and young adults experience in today’s world. Currently, Nicole is also a School Social Worker in Suffolk County, New York, where she provides social and emotional support through counseling and mindfulness programs she developed school wide. In addition, through trainings, workshops and consultations, Nicole shares her mindfulness practices and strategies with many school districts, businesses and agencies across Long Island.
