About My Clients
I specialize in counseling children and adolescents who have been bullied, are experiencing grief/loss issues, depression, anxiety, and suicidality. In addition, I work well with Military and Law Enforcement families.
My Background and Approach
Hi my name is Nicole Carrita and I have been working in the mental health field for approximately 14 years. I have a variety of experiences IBHS (formerly BHRS), Juvenile Detention Center, Residential Treatment Facility for Adjudicated Youth Teenage Girls, Family Based, Inpatient Hospitalization, Outpatient Community Mental Health, and Private Practice. Through these experiences, I developed a passion for working with Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Sports Performance, Perfectionism, Sexual Abuse, and Christianity. I strive to take a person centered approach and walk with you (or your child) through your personal journey. Particularly, I offer telehealth therapy and my two cats (Pumbaa and Timon) and dog (Simba) make occasional appearances.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe heavily in human/animal rights and suicide prevention. I stand for reducing sexual harassment and abuse within the community. In addition, I have an interest in working with children and teenagers who have been bullied.
