About My Clients
Many of my client's present to me with symptoms of racing thoughts, feeling unhappy with their life situation, or may be grieving the loss of a loved one. Working together using evidenced based practices that are scientifically researched to help decrease these symptoms to a more manageable level so you can live a fulfilling life in your future is the ultimate goal.
My Background and Approach
Using evidenced based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Techniques and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Techniques, have assisted clients in decreasing these symptoms significantly. To begin we will start by learning and practicing the basic's of these modalities in session, so that you can practice them in your daily life. Many of these techniques can and do help with decreasing anxiety and improving mood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of the great aspects about humans is the ability to change and heal. At times client's have allowed their struggles to control them; however, working together as a team many have learned to accept these struggles as experiences in their past that they are capable of overcoming are able to move on in their life.
