About My Clients

My clients are either couples trying to navigate life together, either opening their relationships, discovering one (or both) cheated on each other's or realize they drifted apart and have no idea how to come back in connection. Or individuals wanting support around topics such as shame and feeling like not being good enough, narcissism, or trauma and ready to work with a somatic therapist, who's direct, pragmatic approach will push you to grow your capacity to be with your emotions.

My Background and Approach

Prior to become a therapist, I was a yoga teacher and conscious dance teacher. I travelled the world seeking knowledge and understanding about the big questions: why are we here? What are we? Why are we doing anything we are doing? My approach is inspired by Zen and Vedantic teaching from the East, Shamanic approaches from Northern Europe and South America as well as the somatic pioneers in the West, who tried to understand consciousness through movement, dance and meditation. I do my best to meet you where you are and will often ask for feedback in order to make sure the work we are doing is meeting your needs and desires. Clients call working with me challenging and super worth it.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe the world we live in is absolutely insane and totally misguided. We are a social animal praising individuality as its highest value. We have turned on their heads everything that matters and is beautiful in our world and then wonder why the world as become so threatening and ugly. My work stem from the desire to support myself and others to come back to our roots. We are first social, meaning our existence takes meaning within the webs of our communities. And we are an animal, meaning whatever fancy things your brain is telling you, 99% of your behaviors are determine by similar urges than our fellow mammals and we would do much better learning from them than trying to distinguish ourselves from them. Let me be crystal clear: as a therapist I believe joy comes from knowing you belong to a group that accept you. A group that accepts you, a true community, gives you first responsibility, showing their respect by relying on you, not giving you unearned privileges and praise.
