Entering into therapy can be daunting but I hope to create a safe, nurturing space, to ease your trepidations and fears. Together we will create a treatment plan to meet your goals so you can live a fulfilled and empowered life. We will accomplish this through examining your reason for change and implementing strengths based, solution-focused strategies so you can reach your highest potential.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about the positive impact that therapy can have on our lives. I am regularly caught saying “everyone should go to therapy!” I do however, recognize that entering into therapy can be daunting so I applaud you for taking this first step! I believe that we are all interdependent beings and thrive in healthy, dynamic relationships. Thus, I aim to help you build and cultivate those relationships through self-reflection and self-care so you can feel fulfilled and empowered. Together we will work collaboratively to understand your goals and take active steps in obtaining positive, lasting change. I lean towards a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to therapy with elements of Acceptance and Commitment Theory and Mindfulness. I believe therapy should be a partnership-- goal-orientated, and solution-focused.
