About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults seeking clarity and stability around mood, anxiety, attention, or developmental differences. Many of my clients are neurodivergent or gender diverse, or are parents seeking guidance on how to best support their child. I value collaboration and integration with therapy, building care plans that make sense in real life and lead to meaningful progress.
My Background and Approach
I’m a double board-certified psychiatrist based in San Francisco providing telepsychiatry for children, teens, and adults across California. My practice combines psychopharmacology with therapy integration and coordination, aligning medication decisions with each client’s ongoing therapeutic work. I use measurement-based care—validated tools and symptom tracking—to guide treatment that actually moves the needle. I have extensive experience with LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse youth and neurodivergent clients, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. My background in community mental health and crisis services informs a practical, collaborative approach focused on real-world functioning and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe psychiatry should be grounded in both evidence and kindness. Real healing comes from collaboration, curiosity, and respect for lived experience. My work centers cultural humility, an explicit antiracist stance, and a commitment to reducing harm within systems that have historically marginalized communities. I value transparency and autonomy, integrating data-driven care with genuine relationship. My practice affirms gender diversity and neurodivergence, emphasizing access and dignity in every interaction. Outside of work, I recharge through hiking, travel, and sharing good food—reminders of connection and humanity beyond the clinical frame.
