I work with people who are seeking to better understand themselves and their place in the world. My clients often struggle to reconcile their longings for a valuable life with the practical needs of the here and now. They are challenged by the shadows of past traumas, insecurities and familial patterns that persist in the present. I believe people are fundamentally good and are the best experts on what they need. My role is to help them navigate the path forward to healing.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I am motivated to create a safe yet challenging space for my clients - a place where they feel seen, heard and supported. I believe therapy is a mutual relationship built on trust, empathy and collaboration. I approach my clinical work with deep curiosity, humility, and a commitment to understanding each client's unique story. I'm strongly influenced by relationally focused psychodynamic therapy, which means our work will often involve exploring present challenges through the lens of past experiences and relational patterns. In sessions, I aim to focus on what feels most alive and pertinent for you in the moment, while drawing upon your history to provide clarity and insight. I value your honest feedback about our work together - what's landing, what's missing, and what you need more of. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you with greater self-understanding so you can navigate life's ups and downs with more groundedness and ease.
