About My Clients
Struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues? You’re not alone. I’ve been there—and I know healing is possible. You don't have to sit in the hopelessness. It is possible to experience freedom. I offer therapy for individuals and couples. My goal is to help you feel heard and equipped to move forward. My approach is collaborative - meaning you, the client, play an active role in the process of therapy. Let’s talk in a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed professional counselor passionate about helping individuals, couples, and teens navigate anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions. My approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded in proven therapeutic methods. For individual treatment, I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Attachment Theory. This provides the ability to develop healthy coping mechanisms immediately (CBT), and then address deeper wounds to provide long-term healing/freedom. For couples, I use EFT, Attachment Theory, and Gottman Method, which allow partners to grow in their understanding of one another, healthy conflict resolution, and deeper intimacy. I integrate faith-based support when desired, creating space for both emotional and spiritual growth. I believe healing happens when you feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll build practical tools to foster long-term wellness and freedom beyond therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is for all people in all walks of life. Healing is for everyone. I identify as a Christian. I am happy to provide faith-integrated counseling for clients, but ONLY if the client requests it. I will not force faith into sessions if not requested, as I believe that would be unethical for a therapist to do. In treatment, I believe it is ethically important for the therapist to operate from the client's perspective, beliefs, and values, rather than their own. I desire to understand you, the client, and help you identify the healthy paths toward healing based on your beliefs/values. I believe that this will help you to feel firm in your knowledge of self and in your worldview, so that you feel confident and capable to address difficulty in your life beyond therapy. I deeply value the process of therapy because of my own experience and the freedom I gained from anxiety and panic attacks through the process of therapy.
