About My Clients
You may be facing a major transition, grief, relationship strain or a future that feels increasingly uncertain. Perhaps substance use has affected you or your family, or religion has been both a source of meaning and pain. I work with adolescents, adults and parents, including clients exploring gender, sexuality, spirituality and religious trauma. Together we can understand what matters most, strengthen coping and move toward choices that fit your values.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental and values-focused. I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, narrative and solution-focused therapy. We may clarify the values beneath a difficult decision, build skills for anxiety or substance-use recovery, understand a relationship pattern or find language for an experience that has been hard to name. Many teens find me approachable, and I aim to make therapy a place where honest conversation can lead to concrete, meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are at their best when their choices are aligned with what they genuinely value, not simply with what others expect of them. That can require careful exploration when family, faith, identity and belonging pull in different directions. I offer space for religion and spirituality without assuming they are either the problem or the solution. Therapy can help you keep what grounds you, question what harms you and build a life that feels more coherent and hopeful. If you'd like to work with me, please book your first session on my website.
