About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who feel stuck in anxiety, ADHD patterns, perfectionism, or relationship stress and want thoughtful, meaningful change, not quick fixes or surface-level advice. Many of my clients are high-functioning, self-aware, and exhausted from overthinking, people-pleasing, or holding everything together. They may struggle with self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or recurring relationship patterns and want a space that feels grounded, honest, and nonjudgmental.
My Background and Approach
I’m Dr. Nichole Vincent, Psy.D., a licensed psychologist providing telehealth therapy for adults and couples located in 40+ states where I am authorized to practice. My work focuses on anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, and relationship challenges, particularly for people who are high-functioning, self-aware, and still feel stuck despite their best efforts. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by their thoughts, disconnected in their relationships, or frustrated by patterns they understand intellectually but haven’t been able to change. I help clients slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and develop practical, realistic ways of responding differently. My approach is warm, calm, and refreshingly honest. I value collaboration, directness, and meeting clients where they are without judgment or pressure to perform. Therapy with me is about building self-trust, emotional clarity, and skills that support meaningful, sustainable change in everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone is welcome and valued here! I work with clients of diverse ages (18+), genders, sexual orientations, races or ethnicities, religions, marital statuses, mental and physical abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds. You may benefit from therapy with me if: You find yourself unsatisfied with your relationships, consistently accepting less than what you truly desire, & feeling unsure why. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, identify underlying factors, & empower you to cultivate healthier & more fulfilling connections. You lie awake in bed for hours, unable to sleep due to the constant replay of the day’s events or racing worries in your brain; therapy can help. We’ll work collaboratively to develop effective strategies to calm your mind, promote relaxation, & improve sleep hygiene. You intentionally withhold sharing your personal problems, fear burdening others, therapy can offer a dedicated space to unload, express yourself freely, & gain valuable insights and support.
