About My Clients

Do you wish you could move beyond merely surviving and to thrive in all aspects of your life? Do you want to transform your inner world, replacing self-doubt and fear with confidence and self-compassion? Do you dream of uncovering your true potential and living authentically? Do you want to reclaim your narrative, to rewrite your story from one of struggle to one of resilience and empowerment? Ultimately, do you want a therapist who can walk alongside you on this journey?

My Background and Approach

I specialize in trauma, identity, and life transitions therapy, guiding clients of all ages through patterns hindering growth. Using creative methods tailored to each individual, I employ various methods including but not limited to IFS-informed attachment-based EMDR, expressive art therapy, and play therapy to unearth negative self-beliefs and navigate attachment blocks. In our initial session, we craft a personalized plan aligned with your unique goals. I embarked on my career journey working intensively with families resistant to help, understanding their guardedness stemmed from deep pain and mistrust. Rejecting labels like 'non-compliant,' I expanded my therapeutic repertoire, incorporating nature therapy, artistic expression, and innovative family interactions. By holding space for their emotions without judgment, I earned their trust. Witnessing clients shed their armor and embrace vulnerability has been the greatest honor of my career.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

You're not alone. Wherever we are in life – infant, child, teen, or adult – we all need to make sense of what is happening to us, inside us, and in our relationships. I help people make sense of those experiences, harness their resilience, take back their power, and find their way back to feeling whole. I am a queer, non-monogamy affirming, kink-aware and culturally humble therapist. As a trauma specialist, member of the queer community, a woman with a large body and an attachment-based therapist, I believe we are all looking for connection, belonging, and acceptance. When you are in my space, you can expect to be accepted for exactly where you are on your journey, and for who you are in this world. I bring a combination of my lived experiences, humor and authenticity into the room to help you feel more comfortable doing the same.
