About My Clients

I specialize in working with: High-functioning adults navigating anxiety, burnout, or chronic stress. Couples seeking better communication, repair after conflict, or clarity about their relationship. Individuals processing trauma or difficult past experiences. LGBTQIA+ clients exploring identity, relationships, and minority stress in an affirming space.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD from the University of Utah. I completed my clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University. In my practice, I focus on helping people move beyond “just coping” so they can feel more grounded, more clear, and more engaged in their lives and relationships. My approach is active, thoughtful, and tailored. I combine research-supported strategies with a collaborative style so that therapy feels both practical and meaningful. Depending on your goals, we might focus on: Reducing anxiety Understanding patterns that keep you stuck Improving connection in relationships Processing painful past experiences

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be focused on you and that solutions developed in treatment to problems you are having should be grounded in your beliefs and everyday life. That is what makes the work in therapy most transportable into your life outside of the therapy office. I also believe therapy should be collaborative - I bring education and training to our therapy and you bring the most expertise on yourself. Finally, I believe humor should have a respected place in therapy. Laughter is good medicine.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
