About My Clients
I am passionate about helping those who are survivors of trauma and struggle with PTSD, C-PTSD and dissociative disorders. I use a combined approach of Trauma Focused - CBT, DBT, and EMDR (when appropriate), to help clients find healing and begin to thrive through the use of a curious and compassionate lens. I also have significant experience working with those who struggle with ADHD, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, relationship issues, and overall phase of life concerns!
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about working with all 18+ persons and helping them to create lasting and healthy changes. My approach as a therapist is one that is warm, direct and incredibly interactive so that I can better understand my clients' and weave in the clinical knowledge and skills that will help them to improve their wellbeing. I am trained in Trauma Focused - CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and Emotion Focused Therapy, and use these in combination with DBT and other strategies to help clients find the tools that they need. My aim is always to empower my clients with the knowledge and skills they need, with a lot of support along the way, and a healthy push when needed. Therapy is a safe space where we use curiosity and compassion to increase understanding needed to create change, and that space is open to all persons of all identities!
