About My Clients

I have worked with a number of clients, each with a different way of describing what feels wrong. In my practice, I have seen a number of clients learn to address their deepest emotions and desires, and I have seen them improve not only their lives but their relationships with themselves.
My Background and Approach
I am a skilled and empathetic therapist with experience working with adult victims of childhood trauma. I take an integrative, relational approach to counseling, primarily utilizing narrative and relationship-focused modalities. My work applies well to clients suffering from the effects of trauma, chronic shame, depression, and anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a number of things, and I don't hide my life or my beliefs from my clients. Most importantly, I have a profound belief in the importance and the power of relationships in each of our lives. The relational perspective has changed the way I view my life; it has changed the way I view the world. I have watched this work change the lives of people I have worked with, and it has lead me to believe in this work more than ever before.
