About My Clients
My clients are often navigating the physical manifestations of chronic stress, burnout, or trauma that haven't shifted through talk therapy alone. They’re looking for a deeper reorganization of their system—one that addresses both their fascial architecture and their autonomic state. Whether you’re a high-achiever facing exhaustion or someone dealing with long-term postural pain, you’re looking for a path back to a body that feels like a safe, capable place to be in.
My Background and Approach
With 20 years of clinical experience, I focus on the dynamic relationship between form and function. I integrate the physical precision of Structural Integration—following the teachings of psychologist and Rolfer Dr. Ed Maupin—with the nervous system regulation of Somatic Experiencing®. This hybrid method addresses myofascial restrictions and nervous system couplings simultaneously to facilitate a deep reorganization of your entire system and physiology. By tracking your "felt-sense" and exploring how you relate to three-dimensional space, we move beyond surface-level relief. We look at the physics of how you move to resolve long-standing patterns of tension. My practice is informed by my current research in Somatic Psychology, ensuring every session is grounded in evolving science. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of your body’s unique language and the tools to build a regulated life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the body is not a machine to be fixed, but a complex, intelligent system that holds the story of our lives. True healing happens when we stop fighting our symptoms and start listening to the physiological wisdom underneath them. I’m committed to the belief that everyone deserves to inhabit a body that feels resilient and empowered, regardless of their history or current state of stress. My work is guided by the principle that physical alignment and emotional regulation are inextricably linked; you cannot fully address one without honoring the other. I believe in a collaborative, non-pathologizing approach where you’re the expert on your own experience. In our work, I prioritize creating a space of safety and curiosity, allowing your nervous system the room it needs to shift from survival into thrive. It’s my conviction that when we resolve the "stuck" patterns in our bodies, we open up new possibilities for how we show up in the world.
