About My Clients
I work with adult and teen individual clients, and occasionally provide specialized support to parents of teens and families. I enjoy working with people who would like to better understand their emotions; how to communicate them and regulate them. I work with mood and personality disorders. I work with many clients who have a history of self harm, and suicidal ideation/attempts. I also work with people seeking support for substance use/recovery issues, and people on the autism spectrum.
My Background and Approach
I began my counseling career in addictions counseling in 2011. I obtained my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle in 2018. I have experience working in community mental health, group practice, and private practice settings. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT).
