About My Clients
My clients are ready for change. They are open to help from others. Are okay with being challenged and being wrong at times. They have strengths, some they're not yet aware of. They are powerful. They have a longing to live a fulfilling life. My clients come to challenge things in their life that are no longer working or serving them.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors in Psychology. After working with Americorps for a short time I decided I wanted to continue my education to help others in a unique way. Getting my masters in counseling from Seattle University with a emphasis in social justice, I learned the importance of advocacy and being aware of privilege. I have worked and have training around individual therapy across the life span, family counseling, trauma, minority counseling, and eating disorders.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I wholeheartedly believe that everyone is entitled to quality care. In order to make care more accessible I offer sliding scale fees and prioritize working with people with marginalized identities.
