About My Clients
My ideal clients are adults (18+) navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, stress/burnout, ADHD, Addiction, and major life transitions. You might be new to mental health care or returning after a break. You value a provider who is inclusive, direct but compassionate, and who understands cultural identity and resilience. I especially welcome first-generation professionals, veterans, and women balancing career and family.
My Background and Approach
I help adults who look "fine" on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck on the inside. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, first-gen immigrants, veterans, or caregivers who have been holding it together for years. You might be experiencing constant worry, poor sleep, irritability, or feeling disconnected from yourself. I'm Angie — a Doctorate-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) with a warm, non-judgmental, and evidence-based approach. I don't believe in rushing you or labeling you. I believe in listening deeply and creating a safe space where you can be fully seen. My approach: Trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and collaborative. I blend medication management (when helpful) with supportive therapy, CBT, and mindfulness tools. We will make decisions together. I'm passionate about serving clients who don't always feel at home in traditional healthcare — including folks navigating systemic stress and burn.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be inclusive, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, and accessible. Everyone deserves care that respects their identity, culture, and lived experience. I believe healing happens in a relationship that is collaborative, not hierarchical. My practice is a safe space for all bodies, identities, and beliefs. I am kink-aware, poly-aware, and sex-positive.
