About My Clients
I have a lot of success with stuck clients or people who feel like they've tried everything. I love working with dissociation/complex trauma and somatic or physical issues. I am extremely at ease with cultural/ethnic topics, issues around sexuality/gender, and working with spirituality in its many forms. I am not a native Spanish speaker but give my Spanish an A- or maybe a B+.
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years experience working as a licensed psychotherapist. While my training was very traditional, I have developed a lot of non traditional techniques over the years. EMDR is one of my favorite tools. It is so powerful and cuts therapy time in half. I also use energy psychology, muscle/pendulum testing, and my intuitive skills as an empath to guide our sessions. My best teachers are you guys, the clients! I am always learning more. I have spent many years in the client chair working through my own skeletons so I know what it's like and how scary it can be sitting in the hot seat. I am committed to getting you to your goals at the fastest rate possible but also at a comfortable pace that allows you to function and integrate. I am confident enough in my ability to help that I offer a return of your money on our first session should you decide you don't think we are a fit. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The most imporant thing about my personal beliefs is that I will never try to force or push them onto you. I believe you have all the answers inside of you. My job is to help you find them and help clear the blocks that keep you from plugging into them in a healthy way.
