Even though EMDR has been around a while now, it still carries a lot of mystery around it. And I understand why. It isn't easy describing how it works, but it works! I would love to meet with you and give you a sample so you can see for yourself. The short version of a description is that it accesses your body's built in dream tool. Dreams are like free therapy. Our subconscious mind works while we sleep to process. Using this technique while you are awake allows us to target your issue.

Trauma results from many different issues. These are often minimized, repressed or neglected. Taking time to address past hurts can free you to live your best life. I have successful experience treating trauma in it's many forms including sexual abuse, physical violence, combat trauma and the trauma that results from growing up in dysfunctional families. I promise to treat your experiences with care and assist you in getting to core issues so you can live the free life you deserve.

Unaddressed trauma and emotional issues can show up as physical symptoms in our bodies. Many autoimmune disorders stem from your body attacking itself. Trauma causes your body to do this when you are blaming yourself. Self forgiveness is at the root of most somatic issues. I will help you translate your physical symptoms into messages your body needs you to hear. I often see a reduction in pain and illness when root causes are addressed. You deserve health and happiness!

Being overwhelmed causes us to want to leave our bodies to escape the pain and confusion. Dissociation occurs when dysfunctional situations are more than we can bear. This issue is often misdiagnosed as ADD/ADHD or as Bipolar. By correctly identifying dissociation, we can treat it's origin. When we address true origins, incredible joy and lightness can emerge. An example of dissociation may be not hearing all of what is said in a conversation or feeling spaced out and forgetful.

Energy therapy acknowledges that there is a connection between your body and the energy you run through it. What we think is often what we create. I use many modalities in this arena including TAT (Tapas acupressure technoque), TFT (Thought firld therapy) and EFT (Emotional freedom technique). I also use muscle testing and intuition to guide our sessions so you receive the most out of your session time.

People often minimize their trauma by comparing it to others. This isn't helpful. Your experiences, no matter how big or small shaped you into who you are today. Taking the time to examine those experiences helps disassemble beliefs that are not serving you. It is common for us to blame ourselves for things that happened in the past. I want to help free you from limiting beliefs that tie you down. Together we can free you from trauma to live the life you were meant to live.
