I specialize in memory assessment, aging and neurological disorders. I assess function of cognitive skills to provide answers to major questions. I also provide therapy for to help adjust to these diagnoses for yourself or caregivers.

We strive to see each patient in the context of our communities and their many identities. We aim to be culturally aware of possible difference while making space for each individual's self expression. Cultural responsivity is a life long journey. As clinicians we aspire to continually learn about ourselves and the communities around us.

A neuropsychological assessment is a specialty exam that tests a person's thinking skills such as attention, memory, processing speed, and executive function. After thorough medical record review, in-person interview and testing, we will provide you results about current cognitive skills and possible diagnoses.

We all have a range of skills and deficits. As a neuropsychologist, I am adept at assessing and providing psychotherapy for people with attention problems. Through our work you will learn about your strengths and how to best use those skills to manage your weaknesses. Through support and a little trial-and-error you will find ways to manage your daily life with more confidence and satisfaction.

Our clinic is grounded in brain-behavior treatment. Neuropsychologists are experts in assessing thinking skills and describing functioning in a way that is helpful for you, your family and medicatl team. We aim to provide information that is understandable and answers the questions you have.

Our neuropsychologists have expertise in diagnosing Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. We help families understand the diagnosis, prognosis and the next steps to getting comprehensive support. Through psychotherapy or consultation, we also work with family members needing support as they witness changes in a loved one.

People with history of TBI often report ongoing cognitive and mood symptoms long after their physical injuries have healed. These challenges can be difficult to describe to people who do not have experience with TBI. We are understand these challenges well and can help you through neuropsychological assessment or psychotherapy. Together we can learn about your goals and create a plan to work towards feeling better and making a new life that honors your needs.
