About My Clients
I work with youth and adults who are ready to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes. My clients often come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, or weighed down by stress or past experiences. In our work, we focus on building coping skills, improving self-awareness, and finding relief that lasts.
My Background and Approach
I provide trauma-informed counseling for youth and adults, drawing on evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT. My work focuses on helping clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, and the lingering effects of challenging experiences. I take a compassionate yet structured approach—combining warmth with clear guidance—so clients can build coping skills that last, process difficult emotions safely, and move forward with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I deeply value humanity, connection, and the simple but powerful act of loving and understanding people. One of my favorite quotes is by Dr. Bruce Perry: “The truth is, you cannot love yourself unless you have been loved and are loved. The capacity to love cannot be built in isolation.” This belief guides my work, reminding me that empathy, compassion, and genuine care are at the heart of healing.
