About My Clients
I see each client as the expert in their own lives. I am here to walk the counseling journey with you. I create a safe space for my clients to feel comfortable to discuss whatever they are struggling with. I am here to help you on your journey to feel better.Therapy isn’t always easy, but I will be with you for support.
My Background and Approach
I have an extensive background in supporting individuals in their quest to further their self-awareness. This overlaps with my work in helping them on their journey to healing and finding a more balanced way of life. I believe there is good in everyone. Sometimes it takes working through the heaviness to get to the other side and, as your counselor, I am there with you every step of the way.I have experience working with individuals with all backgrounds. I have worked in the school setting from junior high to college. I have worked with individuals in treatment facilities overcoming many different struggles. I work with trauma, depression, anxiety, and much more. I operate from a person-centered and existential framework, but have the knowledge to pull from other modalities, when needed. I would love the opportunity to work with you on whatever it is you are currently struggling with.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Social justice is important to me and I believe in giving back to the community. I identify as an LGBTQ Ally. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two Golden Retrievers, Maxwell and Nala. I love to travel and consider myself a foodie.
