Are you dealing with life stressors or transitions? Is it hard to cope with stressors or emotions? Can the stressors be so overwhelming they cause anxiety or irritability? Have things lead to loss of interest and creates a hard time balancing emotions, family, thoughts, anxiety, or stress? This is a space that will build exploration, reflection, solutions, and evaluations of those stressors and life in general. I am here for the journey that starts with you.

My Background and Approach

I have over 3 years of experience and training in the field of mental health and over 5 years in the field of community advocacy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have over two years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, depression, stress management, anger, and more. Passionate about growth, advocacy, and innovation, she values diverse experiences and is driven by a desire to support others through life transitions. I use various approaches with techniques integrating and utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, art therapy, existential therapy, motivational interviewing, guided meditation, mindfulness-based interventions, and strength based approaches. I value diverse backgrounds and cultures while supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, life transitions, stress management, and domestic violence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As life continues it is understood the changes around us are inevitable. I believe that each person has certain beliefs and values about themselves that is a big part of who they are. I enjoy reviewing the wellness model because it reminds us all of how looking at a client as a whole person is important. Growing up in this generation has created awareness of the different impacts everyone faces and how everyone develops differently including how a person deals with trauma. Through my own therapy I have been able to create balance and a space to speak on my problems and bring awareness of my own thoughts, actions, and behaviors. This showed me how connected our past trauma can be present in our current thought or behavioral patterns and how our environments hold several stressors or even triggers where awareness can help build power and coping strategies against these daily challenges. I do not discriminate against anyone’s beliefs or values and I am always willing to learn.
