About My Clients
Do you frequently feel nervous, anxious, sad, or unmotivated? Have you had many difficult relationships, partner(s) or family members that leave you feeling down or unheard? Are you and your partner(s) experiencing significant jealousy, lack of trust, or disruption? I can work with you and your family/partner(s) to explore these issues, some of the causes, and ways to work through these struggles. You have what it takes to achieve wholeness, and I can help you take the steps to get there.
My Background and Approach
I work collaboratively using an integrative strengths based approach that draws on mindfulness, social constructivist, cognitive behavioral, structural family therapy. We work together to create a plan to help support healing in your thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal patterns. Our time together is for you, and we will focus on the areas that are bothering you right now or that you want to focus on. Your experience of safety is important, and while discussing some challenges may seem scary, I will help you feel safe, and we will move at a speed you can handle. I begin by ensuring that you have skills to handle anxiety and stressors, and then we begin to look at some of the deeper issues and reasons behind your concerns. The combination of skills, and new awareness you will gain regarding your struggles will help you build a resilience to reduce your need to continue any counseling in the future.
