About My Clients
Whether it's anxiety from work, pressures from relationships, or hurt from past trauma, we all can feel lost at times. Maybe you know exactly what you want to work on, or you're uncertain and don't know where to start, I'm here to help! My work is to journey alongside you to create a safe place for you to process life events, unlearn unhelpful thoughts or behaviors, build coping skills, and work towards inner peace. Together we can re-gain a sense of control and direction.
My Background and Approach
I offer psychotherapy to adults and older teens, and my work is rooted in relational, compassion focused, and trauma informed practices (with a bit of humor as medicine). My niche is individuals in the 16 - 35+ age range navigating relationship issues, “adulting” complications, life and career transitions, trauma, self-exploration, self-esteem issues, stress and boundaries. My primary therapy modalities are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with touches of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic experiencing. Those who know me describe me as calm, curious, and a great listener. Finding the right therapist can be a tricky and vulnerable experience - I get it! Alot of my work is with those who are new to therapy, members of the BIPOC community, or who seek someone who they can connect with. Even if that doesn't sound exactly like you, feel free to reach out, I'd love to chat!
