About My Clients

I work with adults facing complex co-occurring challenges, including chemical dependency, compulsive sexual behaviors, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Many of my clients feel stuck treating addiction or mental health in isolation, or carry deep shame around hidden compulsions. Whether facing a crisis or healing trauma, I provide a non-judgmental space to build lasting balance.

My Background and Approach

As a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) pursuing a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in Minnesota, my clinical practice focuses on helping adults navigate the complex intersection of chemical dependency, compulsive sexual behaviors, and co-occurring mental health challenges. With a Master’s degree in Counseling, I bring an integrative, trauma-informed approach to care. I believe compulsive behaviors and mental health struggles rarely exist in a vacuum—they are often deeply tied to unresolved trauma, attachment wounds, and emotional distress. My approach combines evidence-based modalities with compassionate, non-judgmental accountability. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we work together to understand the root causes of your distress, build effective coping strategies, and restore balance in your life and relationships. You don't have to carry the weight of hidden struggles alone—I provide a safe, structured space for real healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that sustainable healing happens when therapy honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Compulsive behaviors and mental health struggles are often adaptive responses to pain, unresolved trauma, or systemic stress rather than character flaws. My core belief is that recovery requires a non-judgmental, compassionate environment where you can speak openly about hidden struggles without fear of stigma or shame. Outside of my clinical work, I am deeply committed to maintaining my own physical and mental well-being through regular exercise, mindfulness, and healthy daily habits. I believe that personal resilience directly informs professional care, and I strive to model the balance, self-compassion, and groundedness that I encourage in my clients. Whether we are exploring root attachment wounds or developing practical tools for daily life, I view our work as a collaborative partnership rooted in respect, empathy, and hope.
