We all need others in order to better see and understand ourselves. In our sessions we will work together to create a space built upon trust that fosters growth and insight. Therapy should be dynamic, and sometimes I'll be there to witness and support, other times I'll be more active and inquisitive.
My Background and Approach
Our relationship is the most important part of therapy! A good fit is important and we'll use the first meeting to ensure we'll work together well. I really believe in the healing potential of therapy and in order for this work well for you, we'll need to be curious, vulnerable, and open to the process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have over a decade of experience working in the arts and non-profits, and believe in the inherent creative potential of all people. I also have a background in social justice and human rights, and have worked extensively in criminal justice reform within New York.
