About My Clients
Adults navigating substance use, serious mental illness (SMI), and major life transitions. I work with neurodivergent individuals and those seeking recovery support, emotional regulation, and practical tools to build stability, resilience, and healthier patterns in daily life.
My Background and Approach
I bring over 15 years of experience in neuroscience, behavioral health, and mentoring to my work. My approach is trauma-aware, neuroscience-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices that support lasting change. I focus on how the brain responds to stress, trauma, and substance use, and translate that understanding into practical, everyday strategies clients can use. My style is collaborative, strengths-based, and highly individualized, meeting each person where they are without judgment. I emphasize skill-building in emotional regulation, coping, and resilience, while supporting clients through recovery, mental health challenges, and major life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are not defined by their symptoms, diagnoses, or past behaviors. With the right support, insight, and tools, meaningful change and healing are always possible. I take a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and nonjudgmental approach to care. I view substance use and mental health challenges through a neuroscience lens, understanding them as adaptive responses to stress, environment, and lived experience rather than personal failure. I value collaboration, honesty, and practical growth. My goal is to help people build skills that actually fit their real lives, not just theory, especially around emotional regulation, resilience, and stability during difficult transitions. I strongly believe in dignity, autonomy, and meeting each person where they are without pressure or shame.
