About My Clients
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or stuck despite being responsible and capable in many areas of life. My clients may be dealing with anxiety, stress, burnout, perfectionism, self-criticism, relationship patterns, major life changes, grief, work pressure, or difficulty finding balance. I especially enjoy helping people gain clarity, build healthier coping skills, improve communication, and make meaningful changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
My Background and Approach
I am a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, self-criticism, burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck. My approach is practical, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from CBT, REBT, Motivational Interviewing, behavioral strategies, and solution-focused techniques. Together, we will explore the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns affecting your well-being while building practical skills for coping, communication, emotional regulation, and healthier decision-making. I am warm and supportive, but I also believe therapy should help you create meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, stronger coping skills, and more confidence handling challenges. I offer telehealth throughout Florida and limited in-person sessions in Orlando. Services are available in English and Portuguese.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are capable of meaningful change, even when they have felt stuck for a long time. Therapy does not have to be about becoming a completely different person. Sometimes it is about understanding yourself better, challenging patterns that are no longer helping you, and learning healthier ways to respond to life. I value compassion, personal responsibility, authenticity, curiosity, and respect. I believe therapy works best when clients feel comfortable being honest without feeling judged or pressured to fit someone else's idea of who they should be. My style is warm and down-to-earth, but I also believe therapy should give you something useful to take with you outside of the session. I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths, build practical skills, and make changes that feel realistic in everyday life. I welcome people from different cultures, backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and life experiences.
