About My Clients

You’re seeking a space where you can be your full, authentic self—where you don’t have to explain the basics of your identity or feel like you have to filter your experiences. Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or the weight of personal and professional expectations, you deserve support that truly sees you.

My Background and Approach

Being anxious sucks. Being depressed sucks. Struggling with who you are or who you love? That really sucks. But you don’t have to do it alone. Hi, I’m Nate—a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you can breathe, laugh (yes, even in therapy), and actually feel seen. With a background in clinical counseling, I’ve worked in both academic and clinical settings, helping people untangle the mess of anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, and identity exploration. Whether you’re questioning who you are, trying to quiet that overactive brain at 2 a.m., or just feeling stuck, I’ve got you. My approach is informed by Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT) because believe it or not—healing happens in relationships, not in isolation. I bring humor, a little sass, and strong therapy skills to help you move through life’s rough patches toward something that actually feels good.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are—no shame, no judgment, no need to water yourself down. As your friendly neighborhood queer feminist counselor, I believe in the power of connection, authenticity, and (let’s be honest) a well-placed eye roll at societal expectations. I’m sex-positive, poly- and kink-affirming, and deeply committed to creating a space where you feel safe to explore what fulfillment, identity, and relationships mean for you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, gender or sexual identity, relationship dynamics, or just the exhausting reality of existing in a world that often feels like too much, I want therapy to feel like a breath of fresh air—not another obligation. I practice from a Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT) framework, which means I believe healing happens in relationships, not in isolation. We grow through connection, not self-criticism. You need space to be fully you—to unlearn the shame and to embrace joy.
