About My Clients
I enjoy working with teens and young adults navigating C-PTSD, mood disorders, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem, body image, sexual orientation, identity, relationship and familial dynamics.
My Background and Approach
My practice draws from Trauma Theory, Anti-oppressive Theory, Family Systems, and Attachment Theory, using an eclectic mix of trauma informed tools such as psychoeducation, mindfulness, narrative therapy, ACT, parts work, somatic and spiritually sensitive practices, and exploratory creative techniques through a culturally responsive lens. I believe therapy is a courageous step toward healing, and I strive to create a safe, brave space where you feel valued and seen in ways that truly recognizes and honors those tender, and complex parts of you. Our work is collaborative and tailored to you, embracing a holistic approach that honors the mind-body-spirit connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapeutic approach incorporates a liberation health framework that interrogates the relationship of systems and power upon communities and individuals. I am a culturally diverse, queer and neurodivergent affirming therapist that aims to validate systemic oppression, microaggressions and everyday violence whilst holding the expansiveness of healing practices outside of the western paradigm.
