About My Clients
I work with children, teenagers, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. My focus is to help individuals heal and become aware of their inner strengths and resilience. I provide a safe space, listen to your concerns, and customize a treatment plan using several modalities that activate and integrate the whole brain. To best heal from challenging situations, you need to be connected to others.
My Background and Approach
I provide a caring and compassionate environment that facilitates deep work toward healing. I use an integrative approach that involves attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, EMDR, sandtray, parts work, Adlerian play therapy, and expressive arts. While serving children, I apply a systemic approach, working with the parents and teachers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in integrity, honesty, and social justice. I have worked with immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees for many years. I am also a fierce ally of the LGBTQ community.
