About My Clients
My clients are often sensitive and struggle with big emotions. Things that don't seem to bother others may hurt them to their core. Big transitions can bring this on, or they may have a long-standing struggle with depression or anxiety. Intense emotions may frequently well up causing their nervous system to run on overdrive and relationships to be chaotic. They may have difficulty calming themselves or of finding ways to bring their gifts into the world.
My Background and Approach
Rather than "talk therapy," I offer an active approach that works to shift problems at their root, transforming pain into hope and purpose. I use body-based approaches that are founded in the latest neuroscience research and enable clients to make deeper changes in their emotions at the level of the nervous system. I help clients learn how to calm themselves and to allow their nervous systems to settle so that they can experience a greater sense of aliveness and wholeness.
