About My Clients

Whether you are experiencing anxiety or depression, in a relationship and struggling with communication or intimacy issues, feeling adrift in your career, or navigating major life transitions, I offer space to process these emotions and build skills that are determined by your concerns and goals. I combine concrete skill building to manage daily struggles with a process of self-understanding to move towards a deeper more long-term change.

My Background and Approach

Sessions are guided by my training as a psychotherapist with an additional master’s degree in mindfulness studies. I have also completed a post-graduate fellowship at Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute (BPSI) and integrate psychoanalytic theory into my framework. I prefer a holistic approach to treatment and integrate the mind-body approach to explore all of components of self and create a bespoke therapeutic plan by integrating both research and theory from mindfulness, neuroscience, attachment theory, as well as object relations and psychoanalytic theory. By understanding our thoughts, feelings, and actions, it is possible to adapt it to feel more empowered in life. I enjoy working with clients who want to gain insight into their inner life, improve their ability to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings, and bring change to patterns in their lives that no longer serve them. My clients describe me as compassionate, empowering, warm, and respectful.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I hold a deep belief in the ability of people to grow and heal. My work draws from several clinical theories but is always focused on the human connection. While therapy is sometimes seen as something that makes you feel better, my goal is to help you live a better, more wholehearted life. I would be glad to hear from you to start our work together.
