About My Clients
You've got life (mostly) figured out, but sometimes life gets messy. The pressure to perform can be exhausting + the cycle of negative self talk often makes simple mistakes feel catastrophic. You're good at being there for others, but when it comes to yourself - it's often hard to ask for help. Whether you’re a corporate baddie, bomb ass entrepreneur, seeking a new direction, or navigating a transitional period of your life, I want you to know that you're worthy of receiving care and support.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in anxiety management, ADHD resilience, burnout, work-related issues, depression, and more. I'd like to help you lower that 20-ton shield of perfectionism so that you can finally give your shoulders a rest. At the heart of my practice are values of empowerment, compassion, and challenging limiting beliefs. I am dedicated to helping clients reclaim their power, silence their inner critic, and rewrite narratives tainted by imposter syndrome, negative self-talk, and external expectations. I typically utilize a combination of CBT, DBT, IFS, and client-centered approaches in my practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We can't intentionally change what we do not yet understand. As your therapist, my goal isn't to "fix you" but to aid you in understanding that your thoughts aren’t always your truths. I want to help you untangle who you are at your core, so you can break through the barriers that hold you back. As a millennial, my interests and hobbies are likely not so dissimilar to yours. I believe in a judge-free zone, but I am also a huge fan of low stakes pettiness in the form of board games. I also have two dogs that will occasionally want to make themselves known, and if you want to meet them, I will NOT hold you back from saying hi. And finally, as a Therapist, Human, and Professional Over-thinker, I too navigate anxiety, imposter syndrome, motivation, and ADHD to name a few. I know the struggle and I will hold your hand as we figure out a pathway forward, together. Everyone's journey is different but the foundation always starts with self-compassion. Ready to get to it?
