About My Clients
You appear to “have it all together” all the time, but the reality is you are holding on by a thread, hoping no one finds out that you are struggling with feeling adequate and fulfilled. Life transitions have you comparing your life and decision making to others, leaving you doubting your abilities and your self -worth. The fear of failing and disappointing others is causing an overwhelming sense of pressure. You want to reclaim authority over your life.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with individuals, 14 -45 in the PA and NJ area, who want to heal issues related to anxiety, depression, grief/ loss, and interpersonal relationships. I also work with individuals and couples around issues that are commonly present with life stresses/ transitions and personal growth, such as self -esteem concerns, career uncertainty, spirituality, relationship connections, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My intent is to create a type of partnership that welcomes trust and vulnerability. “What do you want out of therapy,” “What are your expectations of me,” are examples of questions I ask to start that collaboration/ partnership process. Through an integrative trauma informed approach I am able to cultivate a holistic framework that allows me to use treatment practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based, that meet the needs of the client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All individuals deserve the opportunity to find their voice that speaks life into any goal and expectation. I believe that once a person is able to activate their authority they will start stepping into their purpose and living the life they envisioned no matter where they come from or what their past looks like. Everyone has a story and should be able to speak and live in their truth without judgement, but with warmth and compassion.
