About My Clients
I work with adults facing career transitions, workplace stress, identity exploration, and cultural or relational concerns. My clients often seek a supportive, reflective space to clarify their goals, strengthen their sense of self, and navigate environments where they may feel unseen or undervalued. Together, we build insight, resilience, and meaningful pathways forward.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor‑Supervisor with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through career development, identity exploration, and culturally rooted challenges. My approach is grounded in multicultural orientation, cultural humility, and person‑centered practice. I integrate narrative, strengths‑based, and career counseling frameworks to help clients understand their stories, values, and possibilities. I work collaboratively, honoring each client’s lived experience while offering practical tools for navigating transitions, workplace dynamics, and cultural or systemic stressors. My goal is to create a warm, responsive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward clarity and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe counseling is a relational, culturally shaped process where people can reconnect with their strengths, identities, and hopes. I’m committed to anti‑oppressive practice and to creating spaces where clients feel safe bringing their full selves—including the parts shaped by culture, family, community, and lived experience. Outside of work, I’m energized by teaching, mentoring new counselors, and developing accessible training resources. I love exploring stories—through conversations, books, and creative projects—and I’m continually inspired by how people make meaning, navigate transitions, and build lives aligned with their values. I bring this curiosity and respect for lived experience into every session.
