About My Clients
We offer culturally responsive, identity-affirming therapy and coaching for people who’ve felt invisible in traditional therapy spaces—especially those from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities.
My Background and Approach
With over 18 years of experience, my approach is rooted in empathy, cultural understanding, and the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I lead with a heart for healing, blending clinical skill with lived experience to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can address your social, emotional, and behavioral needs. My goal is to help you build resilience and foster meaningful, lasting change. I’m honored to walk alongside you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I started this work because I know what it’s like to feel invisible in the therapy room. My first therapist was kind, but she didn’t understand my experience as a Black woman. I left feeling disconnected and unheard, and I knew I wasn’t alone. That experience inspired me to create something different: mental health care built on cultural understanding, representation, and real human connection. Spaces where people like me can feel safe, valued, and fully supported—just as they are. Whether I’m working with clients, mentoring early-career clinicians, or speaking on a panel, my goal is the same: to help you tap into your own strength, build resilience, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and connection.
