About My Clients
I work with women who appear high-functioning but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or burnt out. Many are navigating life transitions, perfectionism, or caregiving roles. Using somatic therapy, IFS, and attachment-based approaches, I help clients reconnect with themselves, set boundaries, and heal from within. Together, we create space for clarity, self-trust, and lasting emotional well-being.
My Background and Approach
I am deeply passionate about women’s mental health and have been practicing in the mental health field for over 10 years. My experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and families in both individual and family therapy settings. I currently provide individual therapy focused on women’s issues, relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and stress management. I also specialize in supporting fellow therapists who are seeking space for their own healing, growth, and reflection. My approach is client-centered and humanistic, aiming to help clients reconnect with their strengths, build hope, and foster meaningful change. I hold a BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University and earned my Master’s in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University East Bay. I am also an active member of the community where I live, and I bring this sense of connection into my work with clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in safe, authentic relationships where people feel seen, heard, and accepted. I value compassion, curiosity, and collaboration in the therapy process, and I trust each person’s inner wisdom and capacity for growth. I view symptoms as messengers, not flaws, and work to help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been silenced or overwhelmed. My work is rooted in respect for each client’s unique story, cultural identity, and lived experience. I honor the complexity of being human and strive to create space where clients can move at their own pace, explore what matters most, and build a life that feels aligned and whole. I am especially passionate about supporting women in unlearning harmful messages, reclaiming their voice, and creating sustainable ways of caring for themselves. I also hold deep respect for therapists who seek their own healing and reflection in this work.
