About My Clients
Do you feel overwhelmed by the fear of uncertainty? Feeling held back by your thoughts? Stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Anxiety can feel isolating, debilitating, and overwhelming - but you don't have to go through it alone. Together, we will collaborate to identify unhelpful thought patterns, implement coping skills, and gain insight into your experiences. I primarily work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, boundaries, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working towards licensure in the State of Florida. I received by Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!). I utilize several evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. As your therapist, we will examine how your beliefs and thoughts may be impacting your emotions and behavior. We will collaborate to identify your values, strengths, and goals. I don't believe that therapy is "one-size-fits-all" and I will tailor my approach to your individual needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the importance of culturally-competent and trauma-informed care. I believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone, regardless of gender identity, race, socioeconomic status, or religion. My office will always be a safe space for those who are seeking it.
